The fields are explained as follows:
\begin{itemize}
\item Telescope: 1.0-m.
\item Focus* Telescope: This is telescope focus1. You may wish to make a note of the acquisition camera focus for your own purposes0-m.
\item CCD Type* Focus: This will be STE3 if is telescope focus. You may wish to make a note of the unbinned detector dimensions are 512x512 pixels, else STE4 acquisition camera focus for 1024x1024your own purposes.
\item * CCD tempType: This refers to will be STE3 if the ``Cu Block'' temperature reported in the ``Temperature'' section of the instrument status panel of the STE3/4 CCD Camera Control softwareunbinned detector dimensions are 512x512 pixels, else STE4 for 1024x1024.
\item Filters* CCD temp: Enter This refers to the filter ``Cu Block'' temperature reported in each position the ``Temperature'' section of the instrument status panel of the two wheelsSTE3/4 CCD Camera Control software.
\item Date and Observers* Filters: are self-explanatoryEnter the filter in each position of the two wheels.
\item Run number* Date and Observers: This is a 3are self-digit number that will apply to your data for the duration of your observing run (unlike the UCT~CCD convention). It will be prefixed to your image files, which will be named annnxxxx.fits, where nnn is the run number, xxxx is the file number. To determine your run number, check the previous run number in the log book and add 1explanatory.
\item File No. * Run number: This is the a 3-digit number that will apply to your data for the duration of your observing run (unlike the UCT~CCD convention). It will be prefixed to your image (xxxx files, which will be named annnxxxx.fits, where nnn is the filename run number, xxxx is annnxxxx)the file number. To determine your run number, check the previous run number in the log book and add 1.
\item Object: target name* File No. is the number of the image (xxxx where the filename is annnxxxx).
\item RA & Dec* Object: it may help you to write here the exact telescope coordinates when pointing to your target, as opposed to the catalogue coordinates. This information, together with the associated zeropoints, will enable you to re-acquire the target quickly in futurename.
\item Equinox* RA & Dec: of it may help you to write here the exact telescope coordinates when pointing to your target , as opposed to the catalogue coordinates. This information, together with the associated zeropoints, will enable you to re-acquire the target quickly in future.
\item Start UT* Equinox: is reported in the status panel of the CCD Camera Control software, and remains visible until the next exposure is startedyour target coordinates.
\item * Start sidereal timeUT: can be read from is reported in the TCS coordinate display monitorsstatus panel of the CCD Camera Control software, and remains visible until the next exposure is started.
\item Int Time* Start sidereal time: can be read from the exposure time in secondsTCS coordinate display monitors.
\item Preflash* Int Time: this is not required with the current detectors. This box can be used to record the prebin settingexposure time in seconds.
\item Filter and Seeing* Preflash: are self-explanatorythis is not required with the current detectors. This box can be used to record the prebin setting.
\item Guide star X Y* Filter and Seeing: these are the XYself-slide coordinates of the guide star used for each observationexplanatory. Read them from the TCS ``XY Slides Control'' window while guiding, as they are not necessarily identical to the values you read from DS9.
\item * Guide star X Y: these are the XY-slide coordinates of the guide star used for each observation. Read them from the TCS ``XY Slides Control'' window while guiding, as they are not necessarily identical to the values you read from DS9. * Remarks: Any applicable notes, e.g. the RA \& Dec zeropoints for the specific coordinates used.\end{itemize}
