- enable the physical brake on the grating (inside the instrument) by tightening the 4 black bolts
- tighten the bolts ''carefully'' to avoid disrupting the grating (one could slightly change the angle and the process will need to be repeated)
- close up the south cover of the instrumentand fasten the toggle clamps - replace the 4 M5 bolts through the interface plate to secure the cover - re-attach the shield for the rear-of-slit camera - plug in the USB cable for the rear-of-slit camera - restart the lodestar camera interface to check that the camera is operational
