1. Lab testing
- Initial camera set up in progress. Managed to read out a few blank images. Mostly setting up for remote testing.
2. Acceptance Test Procedure
- Draft lab ATP for comment
- LJMU will comment on what can be tested in lab vs on telescope.
- Next step to flesh out methods for testing/test descriptions.
3. Items ordered
- Collimator parts have started arriving (lenses, mounts, focus adjuster, etc.)
- Filters have arrived in SA. Size confirmed: 33 x 33 x 5mm.
4. Linux version
- Request to confirm desired OS for instrument PC. NE suggests 20.04 LTS, but TBC by software team.
5. Cables/fittings/AMPS
- User retrofitting of different coolant connectors (currently barbed fittings) on the Andor camera is not supported, as per SB enquiry to Andor.
- Mookodi cables accounted for, EL to confirm extra cables needed through derotator wrap for Lesedi.
- EL/SB to confirm mass/dimensional/interface info for items in AMPS.
