** An autoguider camera focus value of 6000 is a good starting point with SpUpNIC/SHOC.
** It is currently necessary to kill the guide star finderchart image display box on the TCS, before pressing "Read" to import the target coordinates from SpUpNIC in order to load the new guide star finder.
** The area within outside the green circle on the finderchart no longer marks the usable guide star region - guide stars within parts of the circle are accessible to the XY slides, but it is advisable to use stars as close to the edge of the field as possible to avoid vignetting. Guide stars outside of both the green circle and the red rectangle marked on the finder are accessible. The new XY slide ranges are (0 < X < 14000, 0 < Y < 91000).
** The new guide camera field is larger and the chip has far fewer hot pixels to upset the guiding.
